Dear Fosuners and partners,

As the year comes to a close, I always look forward to one thing: the opening of our Yuyuan Garden Lantern Festival. When the lanterns are lit, the festive spirit of the Lunar New Year fills the air, bringing warmth to the winter chill.

First, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you! 2024 has not been easy. All Fosuners have stayed true to our original aspirations amidst challenges, reaching  new heights and achieving remarkable results during transformation. This success is a testament to your collective efforts, as well as the unwavering trust and support of our partners. Your contributions mean so much to me!

Since 2022, we have been steadfastly advancing our business streamlining strategy, reducing debt while continuously optimizing our asset structure. In 2024, as we bolstered our core businesses, we placed greater emphasis on both advancement and strategic exits. It was crucial to return to our original aspirations while pursuing development through a focus on our core businesses, with the hope that Fosun can bring more warmth to the world.

I am particularly pleased that our previous projects and experiences have cultivated Fosun’s asset operational capabilities and unique strengths.

This year, following the successful launch of the Alps Snow Live at the Taicang Alps Resort, we officially signed an agreement with the Taicang government for the Taicang Alps Resort Phase II project. Fosun Tourism Group (FTG) will create a one-stop ice and snow-themed resort boasting multiple world-class features through an asset-light management model.

The ULTRAMED Hainan project in Sanya, Hainan was officially launched this year. In addition to Atlantis Sanya, we aim to build a landmark AI-themed resort that integrates cultural performances, luxury hotels, and sports, establishing a super tourism destination. Our focus on our core businesses allows us to bolster industries where we have established advantages. With this in mind, we have announced a plan to privatize FTG, aiming to accelerate development more flexibly after privatization.

2024 marks the 30th anniversary of Fosun Pharma. In the same year, we also announced the privatization plan for Shanghai Henlius. Health is another key area of strength for Fosun, and Shanghai Henlius is undoubtedly a jewel in this segment, serving as a flagship platform for first-in-class drug development. This year, we made significant strides in globalization. Our independently developed anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody, HANSIZHUANG, was shipped to Indonesia in January 2024, marking the first China-developed anti-PD-1 monoclonal antibody approved for marketing in Southeast Asia. In November 2024, HANQUYOU made its first shipment to the U.S., realizing the commercial supply in regions including China, Southeast Asia, North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. Moving forward, we will gather more resources and capabilities to empower its development. Our globalization capabilities remain our most important core strength, one that we must persistently uphold.

The phrase “To cure sometimes, to relieve often, to comfort always” deeply resonated with me this year. We have completed the full restructuring of Fosun Kairos, making it our wholly-owned subsidiary upon the completion of the equity transfer. Driven by the potential of CAR-T technology to provide cures for patients, this hope embodies the power of innovation and reflects our commitment to technology innovation.

Through our commitment to “Contribution to Society”, Fosun hopes to bring warmth to the world. By fostering business for good, we stay true to our original aspirations. Fosun Pharma has supplied over 360 million doses of artemisinin-based products globally, saving more than 72 million lives from malaria. Fosun’s “Rural Doctors Program Empowering Rural Medical Services” is recognized by the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) as one of the “20 Cases of Private Sector’s Sustainable Development in China for 20 Years”. In addition, we have maintained an MSCI ESG rating of AA for three consecutive years and have officially introduced the “Create IMPACT” sustainable development strategy this year, consistently contributing to global sustainable development.

As we bid farewell to 2024, we look forward to embracing the new chapters that 2025 will bring. In 2025, the international economic landscape and trade environment will likely remain uncertain, and the pace of global consumer market recovery and interest rate cuts may be slower than expected.

Yet, I firmly believe that people’s pursuit of a brighter life remains unchanged. This pursuit of health, happiness, and wealth is the guiding force behind our ongoing efforts. By striving to offer the best products and services, and walking alongside every family toward a brighter future, we can forge new paths amid challenges.

As 2025 approaches, we will continue to face cycles and ups and downs. However, complaining is futile. We can only do our best, adjust swiftly, and respond proactively. Just like our Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves) team. Despite early-season setbacks, they have recently regained form and achieved two wins and a draw during the hectic Christmas and New Year’s period, setting a strong foundation for the second half of the season.

Tomorrow, the 2025 Yuyuan Garden Lantern Festival for the Year of the Snake will light up as scheduled, bringing joy to the holiday season. The theme of this year’s lantern festival “Everything is Wonderful, All Beings are Amazing” reflects our heartfelt wishes for you all. I hope you take the time to enjoy the lantern displays with your families. To mark the special occasion of 30th anniversary of the Yuyuan Garden Lantern Festival, the lantern festival will also be held in Atlantis Sanya, Shenyang, Sichuan, and other locations, sending blessings to more families. I wish for Fosun to be an organization that brings warmth to everyone, like lanterns in a winter night, brightening up lives.
