Fosun Group Awarded Highest Honour “Huapu Prize” in the 6th China Brand Festival

On 8 August, the 6th China Brand Festival, themed “Transformation and Driver” , was held at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Ms. Gu Xiulian, Vice Chairman of Standing Committee of the 10th National People's Congress of China and Honourary Chairman of Brand China Industry Union, attended the festival and delivered a keynote speech. Leaders including Ms. Gu Xiulian and Mr. Ai Feng presented the corporate trophies and award certificates to Fosun Group and other 25 companies. The “Huapu Prize”, which literally means “the face of China”, is the highest honour in the China Brand Festival. As the most important event in China’s branding industry, the opening ceremony attracted attendance from 5,000 participants.

 

As an outstanding independent event, the China Brand Festival is a festival that truly belongs to Chinese brands. It is also the most influential brand gathering that hosted with the highest standards. Five China Brand Festivals were successfully held, featuring an array of diverse activities including opening ceremonies, summits and panel discussions, welcoming dinners, award ceremonies, TV award ceremonies, journeys to the brands, branding training camps, and discussions about outstanding personalities in the branding industry.

 

Besides Fosun Group, the enterprises which received the “Huapu Prize” include Haier Group, Baidu, Geely Automobile, Kweichow Moutai, Crystal Education, UFIDA Software, Zhejiang Satellite Television, Gujinggong Liquor,  Sunrain, Galanz, Phoenix Television, Fenjiu Group, Tsinghua Tongfang, Mide, China Merchants Bank, Huiyuan Group,Wuliangye, Yanjing Beer, Luhua Group, China Mobile, Beijing Automobile, China National Offshore Oil, China Energy Conservation & Environmental Protection and China Communications Construction.

 

The 14th China Brand Summit was held during the 6th China Brand Festival as the highlight event of the festival. Guests from the government, corporations, intermediaries, and the media delivered speechies and dialogues on the topics of “Transformation and Driver”, “The Give and Take during Brand Transformation”, “Seeking for Independent Brand Drivers” and “Competition and Win-win - Exploring Positive Brand Energy”. In addition, other dialogues and forums on transformation and drivers of Chinese brands were hosted in the festival as well, including the dialogue between the world’s top 500 brands and independent brands in China, the dialogue between Brand China and the Darfur Forum, and China Brand Manager Summit and the panel discussions on the region, household lifestyles, apparels, wines and liquors, innovation, the youth, and micro movies.
