On the afternoon of 12 October, the Press Conference of China Top 500 Private Enterprises 2024 was held in Lanzhou. During the press conference, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce released the 2024 lists of "China Top 500 Private Enterprises,” "China Top 500 Private Manufacturing Enterprises" and "China Top 100 Private Service Enterprises." Fosun International ranked 33rd in the "China Top 500 Private Enterprises 2024," advancing 11 places from last year's 44th position.

In the first half of 2024, although the macro environment remained challenging, Fosun International continued to resolutely execute the strategy of focusing on core businesses, developing industry-leading companies and products in the industries where it has formed advantages. This strategy has effectively strengthened its advantages in core industries such as tourism, consumer, pharmaceuticals, and insurance, garnering market optimism.

On 28 August 2024, Fosun International announced its 2024 interim results. During the Reporting Period, the Group's revenue continued to grow, reaching RMB97.84 billion. Industrial operation profit maintained growth, reaching RMB3.47 billion, and profit attributable to owners of the parent was RMB720 million. The four core subsidiaries, namely Yuyuan, Fosun Pharma, Fosun Insurance Portugal, and Fosun Tourism Group, achieved a total revenue of RMB72.17 billion, accounting for 74% of the Group's total revenue.
