At the same time, Fosun has made strong efforts to advocate for employees to pay attention to sustainable development and environmental protection. During their time in Hong Kong, the ESG ambassadors visited the HKFYG Organic Farm in Yuen Long, learning about the characteristics of organic farming, including the use of fertilizers, sources of irrigation, selection of seeds, and methods of pest control. At the carbon neutrality-themed kNOw Carbon House, the ESG ambassadors learned how to change small daily habits in areas like clothing, food, housing, and transportation to practice a low-carbon lifestyle, thereby contributing to the promotion of environmental protection and sustainable development.

Sustained commitment to social responsibility and environmental practices

Fosun continues to encourage employees to actively practice social responsibility and environmental concepts by supporting community activities. During the first half of this year, they made multiple visits to the H.K.S.K.H. St. Matthew’s Neighborhood Elderly Centre, distributing rice to the elderly and low-income individuals and families in Hong Kong, spreading positivity and warmth to the community.

It is worth mentioning that in the first half of this year, Fosun International Limited and Fosun Foundation were awarded "Caring Company" and "Caring Organization" respectively by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service, recognizing Fosun's efforts in the field of social responsibility and encouraging Fosun to continue actively participating in public welfare undertakings, contributing to the development of a sustainable society.

Looking ahead, Fosun will continue its commitment to ESG management and green governance. Through collaborative efforts with global partners, Fosun will drive the sustainable development of enterprises and contribute to building a better world.
