In Macao, typhoon season is at its peak from July to September.  Year after year, this season gets harsher, especially after the struck of Typhoon Hato (2017) and Typhoon Mangkhut (2018) in two consecutive years, which caused heavy damage in Macao and the concerns related to this increase considerably.  For the safeguard of the local community upon the typhoon season, Fidelidade Macau has launched the typhoon related products, which helps to protect the most valuable things of the local community.

Typhoon Protection Campaign, bundled products that link two protection products, EasySecure Personal Accident Insurance and Home Protection Plan, under a very realistic argument and yearly concern for the local population related with the typhoon season.

Apart from the Typhoon Protection, Fidelidade Macau also provides SME Natural Catastrophe Property Insurance, which was introduced by the Macao SAR government.  This insurance is to provide financial aid to those who experience financial or property loss due to natural disasters, namely the passage of severe tropical storms and storms that activate a typhoon signal 8 or more, or a level 4 (red) storm surge or higher. It is designed to protect the assets of stores and commercial spaces located in low-lying areas of the city.  The insurance coverage includes buildings, repairs and upgrades, electrical appliances, utensils, furniture, machinery, electronic equipment and product stock. All companies that have fewer than 100 workers are eligible for this insurance.
The Sum Insured of this insurance plan are MOP 100,000, MOP 200,000 and MOP 300,000 respectively, business owners can choose the best fit plan according to their need.
