Fosun Hosts MoMath Festival 2021 at 28 Liberty Plaza
NEW YORK - August 15, 2021 - Fosun and the National Museum of Mathematics (MoMath) hosted the fifth annual New York City Math Festival on Saturday, August 14, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Fosun Plaza, downtown Manhattan.
The in-person festival brought a full day of hands-on math exhibits, entertaining mathematical games, intriguing puzzles and brainteasers to 28 Liberty’s Plaza. New York University’s Lab for the Developing Mind is collaborating with MoMath to bring activities to the festival.
“Fosun is pleased to welcome back the New York City Math Festival as part of its ongoing effort to bring the community together through fun, interactive events,” said Tom Costanzo, Executive President at Fosun Hive. “The engaging MoMath exhibits and activities are perfect for families and individuals who want to experience the wonder and beauty of mathematics in unexpected and fun ways.”
This year, the New York City Math Festival also featured:
