On December 13, 2017, Fosun International Limited (“Fosun International” or “the Company”) received the Platinum Award, the highest accolade at “The Corporate Awards 2017” from The Asset, the renowned international asset management and investment magazine. In addition, the Company was honored with the “Best Investor Relations” Award.

This year, the Company was accredited with the highest honor, the Platinum Award by The Asset for the first time after being presented with the Gold Award for five consecutive years. The award recognizes the Company’s adherence to the best  management practice and emphasis on good corporate governance and disclosure of information. The award also acknowledges the Company’s efforts in corporate social responsibility, investor relations and media relations as well as its commitment to maximizing the value for stakeholders while actively striving to achieve rapid growth in profit.

Fosun International has achieved a breakthrough in the financial year 2016 with its profit attributable to the owners of the parent reached RMB10.27 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 27.7%, exceeding RMB10 billion for the first time in Fosun’s history. As at June 30, 2017, Fosun’s net profit hit a record high of RMB5.86 billion, an increase of 33.6% from the same period in 2016, total assets amounted to over RMB500 billion.

The annual “Corporate Award” is a highly-respected ranking organized by The Asset. The judging panel comprising professional investors and financial analysts. The panel conducted thorough examination by detailed questionnaires, votes from institutional investors, interviews with professional investors to assess the overall performance of the numerous listed companies in Asia in various areas including financial performance, corporate governance, social responsibility, environmental protection, information disclosure and dissemination, investor relations, etc. After a rigorous screening process, the panel selected the outstanding enterprises to endorse and recognize their excellent performance.
