(3 August 2016) Fosun International Limited (stock code: 00656.HK) announced that Fosun United Health Insurance Company Limited (the “Fosun United Health Insurance”), of which Fosun Group is an initiator, has obtained the formal approval from China Insurance Regulatory Commission for preparing for its establishment with a registered capital of RMB500 million in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province.

Fosun United Health Insurance will actively develop health insurance and healthcare services in China and establish a customer-oriented service system by providing quality products such as medical insurance and illness insurance to consumers.
