Fosun Property accelerated global investment by finished its 2nd property acquisition in Tokyo
Today, IDERA CapitalManagement Ltd. (“IDERA”) under FosunProperty Holdings(“Fosun Property”) is pleased to announce the acquisition of a large-sizedoffice building located in ShinagawaSeaside, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, namely ”Shinagawa Seaside Park Tower”. IDERA will be appointed as the asset managerfor the acquired asset.
It is the second property investment for FosunProperty in this year, following “SeaFort Square Citi Group Center Building”, locatedin Tennouzu Isle, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, in this August.
Mr. Guo Guangchang, Chairman of Fosun Group, welcomedthis acquisition and said, “IDERA is a leading fund management and asset managementcompany in Japan. In May, 2014, IDERA became a subsidiary of Fosun. In threemonths, IDERA acquired Citi Group Center in Tokyo and now the second deal can be finalized,which well demonstrates its ability in property investment in Japan. We believethat in the future IDERA shall help Fosun as well as other global institutionalinvestors to close more investments in properties in Japan.”
Shinagawa Seaside Park Tower is located in ShinagawaSeaside in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo. It is a 23-floor office building well connected to publictransport and only 1-minute walk to Rinkai Line “Shinagawa Seaside” Station. Leading Japanese IT and manufacturing corporations have their presencein surrounding area, which makes the Park Tower an ideal location for officespace in Shinagawa-ku.
