Bloomberg Businessweek Chinese Edition stated that, as global interest in Environmental, Social and Governance ("ESG") investing grows, supervisory authorities have introduced relevant guidelines to drive listed companies to attach greater importance to ESG governance and responsibilities. Investors and stakeholders now attach an increasing importance to the impact of ESG performance on enterprises’ credit worthiness, operation and risks management. As one of the most influential business magazines in Asia Pacific region with a global vision, the Chinese Edition of Bloomberg Businessweek joined hands again with Deloitte in presenting the second year of “ESG Leading Enterprise Award”.  The event aims at recognizing exemplary enterprises which excel in incorporating ESG goals and activities in their development strategies with outstanding business performance and growth. 

This year, Fosun International was accredited with the "ESG Leading Enterprise Award” by Bloomberg Businessweek Chinese Edition, which aims to commend enterprises with remarkable business growth, while at the same time, making significant ESG contributions. The “Leading ESG Initiative Award” award is the magazine’s acknowledgment of the “Fosun Helps the World Fight against Coronavirus” project. It deems that Fosun has leveraged on its global resource advantages to timely deploy protective materials to assist many countries affected by the epidemic, demonstrating its strong commitment to social responsibility and mission in the battle against the epidemic.
